Anoka Exhaust and Welding

Mike Kaufmann has been building exhaust since he bought his first car as a teenager.  Modifying his own cars is how Mike first realized his talent for welding.

Mike got his degrees in fabrication and welding at Anoka Technical College.  He was recruited into Local 455 Pipefitters Union where he continued his education for another five years and worked in the field as a pipefitter for ten years.  He gained expertise in fabricating mechanical piping systems at oil refineries, power plants, biomedical facilities, manufacturing facilities,  airports,  schools, and other industrial settings.  He is experienced in all types of metals and welding procedures.

Mike is passionate about building exhaust to increase performance on his personal cars.  His dream was to open his own shop where he could use his extensive welding experience to custom build and repair exhaust systems full time.  He enjoys working on all types of exhaust projects including repairs, restorations, and full custom builds.  His favorite part of his job is listening to his happy customers leave.
